A: Hello Beena, Yes, this saucer sled has 2 side holds for the hands. The dimension of the sleds is actually 24" and not 26", and it is suitable for a 9 year old. Best regards,

Q: When will this product come back in stock? (As of January 2) Local store is Scarborough East, ON

A: I'm in retail and this is a seasonal item, thus after the season is half over than there won't be any more until about one to two months before the season starts again. For example...Since this is a sled of sort than most likely it won't be available until November; a month before winter.

Q: The picture is showing last year's model which is not available in stores. Will you be brining back last year's model? This year's model is smaller and doesn't have the handles (so the picture needs to be updated). Last year's model was better and I think it's still available from the manufacturer.

A: You are correct, the picture needs to be updated and we are working on this. This years model is in fact smaller. As a safely precaution the handles were omitted to avoid big bulky mittens getting stuck in them.

Q: How come the price went up after I chose my local Canadian Tire Store? I was under the impression that if I bought from one store it would be the same price in all of your stores

A: Price variations from region to region are common to many retailers. Product pricing is set after looking at cost of goods, transportation costs, market conditions and competition. In order for businesses to remain competitive they are allowed some flexibility on setting prices. For Canadian Tire Stores this means assessing the market competition in their area and then setting prices that are attractive to customers and at the same time deliver a profit.
