Good to learn with - for a 65 year old

Exercises the old hand/eye co-ordination, but the youtube pilot makes it look easier. The living room is taking a beating, but the drone flies well if only our room was larger. Trim and hover are pretty good, controls and reset pairing is good. Could use a second battery as flight life is about seven minutes. Holds up extremely well to crashes.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good but ....

This new drone is really the Syma X5 UC model sold by Syma but made for Canadian Tire. The X5 UC comes with a camera and 2 batteries and a screwdriver. The CTC version has no camera, only one battery and no screwdriver . The screwdriver should have been included because you have to install the 4 feet and a micro screwdriver is a must. Other than that this is a fantastic model that flies super good, fast and reliable. The transmitter should be more rought to the touch because it feel slippery. Again the screwdriver is a big miss in this drone.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good starter drone

This is a great drone to get you hooked on flying. I would have given it a better grade if it had a more stable flight. poor trim makes it hard to hover indoors. Also not a big contrast between high and low speed. Good yaw rate when stripped to just the body. However it makes up for this choppy flight with bomber construction, which will hold up to any beginner crashes.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent and very fun . Bought it for my 7-year old son and after a few days, he was able to fly it normally. Good quality material.

Fun but not for a long flight.

This is a great fun but the problem with these toy is the flight last about 10 minutes max before a recharge. At first you spend most of the time setting up the controls and then it dies and need a recharge. Eventually you spend more time flying then setting up. Not for young kids for sure.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 4 of 4 Questions

Q: What type of battery do I need to buy as a replacement battery? Also, what is the real model name of this drone? It seems that D360 is the Canadian Tire model.

    • A: Yes, the remote controller uses 4x AA... but the drone itself uses a 3.7V 300mAh battery. Do you sell those batteries?! What about spare propellers? In order to purchase those on the Internet, we would need to know what the equivalent model number this D360 equates to at Syma (i.e.: x5uC).
