Not just for paint.

Not sure how well or not it works on paint, but I use it to clean my glass cooktop.
Cheaper and a bit more aggressive than the over priced cooktop cleaner.
Cloth supplied, utterly useless. I use with a soft wool pad and my drill, even at that IT DOES REQUIRE A FAIR
AMOUNT OF ELBOW GREASE AND SWEAT!!!!! (nothing in this world is free!)
All in all, very satisfied

Got a heavy scatch and dent in my door from a parking lot and it did a great job of hiding the scatches. I didn't think it would work so I was pleasantly surprised when it did. I would definitely recommend it.

It's a safe choice, with satisfying results

I usually get a different brand, but I thought I would give this a shot as it was on sale, and I was really shocked at how well the results were. I'm not saying it's exactly the same as the top shelf products, but what I'm trying to get across is the fact that it does the job and more, especially if the price is sale, I would not hesitate to buy again

Q: Is this product dual action compatible Can it remove scratches that your fingernail catches on or will I have to wet sand it.

A: It's worth a try, but most likely you'll have to wet sand it. You can use it to polish it after you've sanded down the scratch.

Q: Will this help with paint scratches? I hit a tow hitch and just need something to help the scratch it left.

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Bob16. The SIMONIZ Scratch Remover Kit removes light scratches, swirl marks, hairline scratches and paint scuffs. Given the damage was done by a tow hitch, I'm concerned the gouge may be too deep. Run your finger over the scratch and if your fingernail catches, it may be too deep and require professional assistance. Best of luck!

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Rajan. The Simoniz Scratch Remover Kit will remove swirl marks. We would recommend applying with the Simoniz Platinum Dual Action Corded Polisher (039-6534-4). You may also want to look at the Simoniz Finishing Glaze (039-2735-0), as it removes fine scratches and swirl marks to create a flat, even surface.

A: No it’s not made for removing scratch on plastic. To remove scratches from plastic use a heat gun and heat carefully the plastic when it come shine stop and the scratch will disappear.
