Buckets crack and leak

I bought 2 buckets last year and both are cracked all around where the grit guard presses against the bucket. The buckets are on clearance now and i'm sure that is why.

Good bucket

Great product for washing cars. The grit separator works well for any grit that will sink in in water (unlike fine dust which will suspend in the water. Pail is big and sturdy.

It's a bucket and there isn't much to say about it other than it holds liquids well. I will also add that it is very expensive for what it is and that's why it does not receive 5 stars.

The product does exactly what it's meant to do. It traps dirt at the bottom of the bucket, considering the price is cheaper than most competitors it's definitely worth the buy.

A: All I know is it’s plastic. More info may have been on the sticker I removed. I suggest looking on the Simoniz or CTC website for the info.

Q: What is the diameter of the bucket? Trying to get a washboard that will fit, but no details are given about the diameter of the bucket.

A: Hello. The authentic Grit Guard Washboard will fit this bucket. The outside diameter of the bucket at the top is 12" Buyer beware - the Chinese have knocked off our Washboard and the knockoff does not fit. Be sure and purchase your Washboard from a reputable dealer.
