As a professional car detailer clay wash mits are very effective on removing stuck on contaminants on your paint and getting the paint smooth again. However the one from Canadian Tire is much too aggressive and will cause scratches. A good clay mit should cost $20 $40. Find one that has the softest rubber

Don't use this product

I bought this as it was on sale, and it was advertised as better than clay bars. Big Big Mistake, don't buy this! It leaves grey streaks on a white car, which took extra work to get out. I have used clay bars before and this never happened.
So disgusted as this product I ended up throwing it out rather than even trying to get a refund. Stick to regular clay bars from now on, or buy a better clay mitt from another manufacturer.
No, I do not recommend this product.

If you are expecting outstanding results, you might be dissapointed. The mitt works well when applied correctly. Make sure to have a wet and soapy surface prior to applying. The clay could be thicker but overall it worked well. My car's surface definitely felt smoother after a good rinse but you could still feel some minor leftover particles. I would recommend this product.

-Absolutely GREAT! Do not change it. Please Keep Stocking it Canadian Tire & Leave it just as it is....you do not need to change this in any way.
- I turned around and saw it one day and couldn't believe they carried these at Canadian Tire.
-I've clayed 3 cars so far & so good. Should be able to do another car or 2 i'm guessing no problem. Used on glass & paint & headlights.
Used Mothers Show Time Instant Detailer 2 times with it.
And then this last time , D155 Detailer Last Touch Spray Detailer diluted 1:1 (as per instruction on gallon jug) as clay lube.
Love it.

A: You are able to clay approximately 6 to 10 cars, depending on the pressure of the application. You do not need to put a lot of pressure when you clay the car with the clay mitt (less pressure than a clay bar).

Q: information Is this completely safe for all kind of automotive paint?it is light duty grade or meduim duty?i am looking for light duty clay mitt,,is this the one i am looking for?

A: Yes as this is a light clay sponge. Do not put pressure when you work with it, use car wash soap with water or spray detail like a lubricant.
