One issue might be a deal breaker

While the set is as easy as putting on a hat and the blu ray image looks great, there is one annoying carry-over feature that I also had on my old Seiki blu ray player. During blu ray playback, you cannot pull up the settings screen (Set Up) and change anything to do with picture or audio. The player gives you a large array of picture possibilities, but these can only be accessed and adjusted AFTER you stop the blu ray. Which means you would have to start the movie all over again, FF through piracy warnings and trailers, just to check your changes. NOTE: this ONLY applies to blu rays. DVDs can be fully adjusted WHILE watching the movie, although the set-up screen is so darn big it's hard to see changes anyway. Now... I realize TVs come with all sorts of advanced color and audio changes too, but as the calibration of such things varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.... it would have been nice to have the Seiki machine option available during playback just as a secondary choice with which to compare. But NOT!! Finally... while the blu ray picture looks great, the 4K upscaler has no affect on DVD quality, and certainly does not make a DVD look like a blu ray, much less 4K. LOL. But... if you think it does... fine... believe it. That's why they call a placebo and placebo. LOL. Overall, this a good cut rate player, and with a faster reaction time (especially loading and ejecting) than my old Seiki... which by the way is 6 years old and rarely had an issue even after I ripped the front door off to get a DVD out that got stuck inside because I pressed "eject" during playback. This NEW Seiki doesn't have that problem. I checked! LOL.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does this player have RCA or Composite outputs as well as HDMI?

    1 Answer
    • A: The SR4KP1 Blu-ray has HDMI and Composite ports for connecting to TV. As a side note: Blu-ray discs have the ability to block playback through the Composite port due to copy protection. “Blu-ray Disc players produced after 2013 must not output analog signals when playing protected content.” This rule was nicknamed the “Analog Sunset”. RCA is composite (3 cable - Yellow, White, Red). Component (component is 5 cable – Red, Green, Blue, White, Red)

Mais la région peut être modifiée dans le menu du lecteur. Appuyez sur le bouton d'installation et entrez le numéro "8520" pour afficher le réglage du code de région.
