Tried JB Tank Weld to stop weeping steel gas tank, still weeping after 3 layers of JB. Applied one layer of Seal All over top and stopped weeping. Fantastic! Now can get replacement tank without much vehicle downtime.

Q: Can this be used to repair a small crack in a dirt bike plastic gas tank?

A: Yes, it will seal but not 'repair' the crack. You will need extra reinforcing to stop the crack from getting bigger.

Q: Will this work on my car to seal siding on window? I live up North so temperatures can drop below -40.

A: Auto Goop – Seal All does not have the correct temperature setting to complete this task. Amazing GOOP Automotive is best when applied in temperatures ranging from 50 °F to 90 °F (10 °C to 32 °C). (Note: Amazing GOOP Automotive can be applied outside this temperature range, but cure time may increase significantly.) Once cured, Amazing GOOP Automotive can withstand temperatures between -40 °F and 150 °F (-40 °C to 66 °C).

A: It sure can – the surface will need to be cleaned and if it is on the outside of the tank in might need to be ruffed up so it will stick better. It will need to be dry and will need to stay dry for about 3 hours.
