I noticed there have been a loooot of slugs in the backyard, and they were taking a particular liking to one of my dahlias that had zero leaves on it as a result. The range of slug sizes were ones two inches long, to one less than a cm long spotted chowing down on my poor plant.
Bought this product and overnight, it secured its first prey one in the pebbles). It clearly hadn't gotten far from where it was sprinkled. Next day, I saw this weird oozy trail down the side of the house. Lo and behold...another one bites the dust.
Don't need very much sprinkled for it to work, so this bag will last a long time, depending on the size of your garden and the plants you're trying to protect.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: I'm not sure. I ever only use it on tomatoes and squash and it works really great. I suspect if you see slugs and snails it will just work the same

A: I found this information: “ Safe, non-toxic to people, pets, children, birds, insects, earthworms, and other wildlife. Iron phosphate is a naturally occurring soil compound that will naturally degrade and become part of the soil if uneaten (after all the slugs and snails are gone). Avoid direct applications to ponds, streams, lakes and other bodies of water.”

A: Iron. You can read it on the picture of the package too. It says active ingredient: iron/fer.

Q: My hostas had a lot of slugs this summer would it be advisable to use this in the fall to get rid of the slugs so there are not so many in the spring?
