Excellent Bike For A Great Price

Purchased this bike recently and I couldn't be happier. It was lighter than expected given it's size and that it has a steel frame. Seems to be very well built and made with quality parts. Very comfortable and has a great ride. Thanks for the great service and great deal Canadian Tire Hebron Way, St. John's, NL.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

if you want a mountain bike...spend some money

My wife and I each purchased a Schwinn mountain bike 10 years ago from CT and they are not any good any more. We purchased the Cadence and the Aphrodite. The gearing system never worked properly, brakes had to be replaced in the first two years. The tires rub a lot on the frame, and the plastics break very easy. If you want a mountain bike get a good one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is there a strategy to take the front wheel off without having to deflate the tire to squeeze the tire through the brakes? The bike has quick release, but having to deflate the tire almost defeats the purpose... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    • A: You can release the brake pads by squeezing the brake arms at the top and releasing them.

Q: Can this bike be upgraded with disc brakes? I see that this bike has some unused bolt holes where disc brakes are commonly attached. Does this mean I can buy a set of disc brakes and install them? Do I need new wheels for such an upgrade too? (I already have this bike)
