Do Not buy this car seat Alpha Omega- 85 Lbs

I bought this car seat- great price, but once your child reaches a certain age- NOT good. It is way too tight in the groin area + it is super hard to loosen. I thought maybe it was me-- but my cousin had 3 of these car seats and same results. I have had it since my daughter could go into a 20+ lb car seat. she is now 26 lbs- and 2 YO and its way too tight. she screams always and now I am stuck with a car seat she hates and still have to buy a new one. NOT impressed.

We bought this car seat for my daughter when she was 18 months old, she is now 5 and still uses this seat. We bough the same seat for our daughter who is 2.5 It is a great set for the price, but as other people have stated a little bulky. We drive a g6 sedan and with both car seats in the back, the centre seat is to small for anyone to sit in. All in all though it is a great seat. Easily to install, aesthetically appealing, well priced & easy to wash.

Q: Where is the cup holder? It says in the specs that there is a cup holder. I recently bought this seat but did not get the cup holder.

A: It should come with a cup holder. On ours the cup holders were black molded plastic that you could hook on the side of the seat provided you didn't have 3 passengers in the back seat.

A: There is no "base". The carseat is one unit that is installed into your car. I would not classify it as "universal" since it is quite large and does not fit in the rear position in small cars (Matrix & Versa - as per my recent review).
