Noisier than a cheap leaf blower or power mower with a broken muffler.

I have the original
I have the original unit. I use this saw when I think of it. At best this is a stationary jig saw. I’ve had more problems over the years is why I don’t use very often. Currently, the biggest issue is the blade holder. Some blades don’t lock in. Other blades lock on the side instead of the front. When this happens I have to play with the blade to get it to lock straight instead of at the side. Would I buy another saw? Would I recommend this saw? My answer to both questions is NO I would not recommend this saw to anybody.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A light weight workhorse
The BladeRunner X2 is such an important and unique tool to me that after buying and using one for four full days of work, I purchased a second one as a backup. For me the ability to have a table top saw that can cut so many different materials which is less than 15 lbs making it so easy to transport is a game changer. I no longer need to transport a 45 lb plus jobsite table saw around. Although it is light in weight, it has been a true workhorse for me. I have used it regularly for almost a year and a half for big and small jobs. From rebuilding two sheds, to making a slop sink surround, ripping plywood, cutting trim boards, PT lumber, ceramic tile, and wood flooring, etc, this light weight wonder has never let me down. While I own two of them, other than as an extra saw for my workshop at home, the first BladeRunner X2 has done the bulk of the work and is still going strong. I depend on my BladeRunner X2 so much that I do not know how I would accomplish my work so efficiently without one.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Craft Saw
I bought this saw to make a custom frame to attach a matte to that will fit inside a shadow box. I needed wood strip that were 3/4" wide, but the smallest wide I could find were 1" thick. I purchased this saw to rip through the five-layer laminated basswood strips so they would be 3/4" wide and to cut those strip to the right lengths. The saw didn't rip through the wood with the speed of a table saw, more at the speed of a jig saw, which it basically is. The saw handled the job beautifully, giving me straight cuts. Great craft saw for making picture frames and shadow boxes.
The only thing that would make this saw even more versatile would be the capability to angle the blade to get beveled cuts so I could make roofs for birdhouses.
Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Rockwell bladerunner as a Fathers Day gift from my parents....my wife makes doorhangers out of 1/4 inch plywood and I have probably cut several hundred designs out for her.... up until today when all of a sudden it acted as if the saw lost power and started to make a chugging sound from the motor area....I had only cut 4 small designs when all of this occurred and couldnt even finish the task at hand... I would recommend this for small jobs around the house (occasional use) but not for extended use like I have used it for ... thanks rockwell but maybe I need to look into a different product that will not fail in the middle of a project

Q: Can it be used as a scroll saw? Nothing real fancy just cutting numbers and letters stuff like that.
2 Answers
A: Yes, It is roughly equivalent to a scroll saw, although the depth of the jigsaw blades that are used is going to be greater than the depth of a scroll saw blade. So the smallest radii of cut will be larger for this device.
Scroll saw blades tend to drift and twist. That won't happen with this device, since blades are going to be thicker and stronger.
It is both an advantage and limitation.
The blades that come with the device have a standard depth, and you will need to purchase a lower depth blade to do small radius curves.

Q: Do the this come with a wall mount?

A: No it does not come with the wall mount. the description does not list it as part of the contents. if you find the original Blade runner it does come with the mount . master craft does not.

Q: Can it be used as a table saw?
2 Answers
A: As a practical matter, no. A table saw will produce straight cuts every time with high accuracy and repeatability.
This device will have an accuracy of about 1/8th of an inch over a cut length of 5 inches. The blade is going to curve inward or outward by that distance over a cut of that length.
The fence provided keeps the material running nice and straight, but the blade is going to kick toward or away from the fence as the cut progresses. The blade cover/guide has no material strength to prevent the movement. making the fence essentially useless.
This tool's primary utility is in making scroll saw like cuts in small pieces of thin material. Children's wooden toys, frames (perhaps).
In addition it has limited miter capability. The blade is always at right angles to the cutting surface.

Q: Will The Blade Runner 2.0 work with the RW9263 Rockwell Bladerunner Wall Mount

2 Answers
A: Consider how loud this device will be when it's sound is amplified by a wall that is acting as a loud speaker.
Wall mount = good idea, that goes bad once reality sets in.

Q: Bois franc
