Packaging sucks

As soon as I squeezed the tube and was running it along the top of the windshield, I noticed my had was feeling wet. Almost all of it was squeezing out the end dropping on top of my windshield. It is now covered with this silicon and I can’t get it off. Very disappointed. However, seems to be holding up so far in the places where I wanted it to be.

Hello Cccc, it is important to note that the correct size on the tip of the tube requires to be cut in order to ensure when the tube is squeezed the product does not push out of the bottom as noted. Thank you

Doesn't actually work for a windshield. My windshield kept cracking after I put this sealant on. Don't waste your money!!

Hello Melissa, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that this product did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, this sealant is not designed to repair chips or cracks in a windshield. Repairing windshield chips or cracks requires a specialized UV curing adhesive. This lower viscosity silicone sealant is designed to seal hard-to-reach leaks in the seams or channels at the outer edges of windshields and glass. Thank you.

Q: Could this be used as conformal coating in electronics?

A: It flows out great and would cover all the nooks and crannies for sure but even though it doesn't smell like acetic acid, I am sure it must rely on moisture in the air to set (like all RTVs) and I am not sure that is good for electronics.
