Biggest mistake buying this useless product

I would give this product negative starts if I could. Does not work at all. It claims to have a virtual leash where you get a notification if your dog leaves the area. My dog got loose and we never received a notification even though I had the leash set up and the notifications on. Then if that wasn’t bad enough turns out once your pet has left 300 feet it won’t even give you a direction to go because it doesn’t contain a gps. This product is to blame for us not being able to find our lost dog. I considered buying an AirTag for my dog but figured I didn’t need to because I had this product. Don’t be fooled and do not buy this product!!!! It will be the biggest mistake and regret you will ever make in regards to your pet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to use tag for any pet parent out there, it gives you peace of mind if you know your furry family member won't wander too far away. But it doesn't provide the best location services if your little one roams a couple of houses away, I'd still get this tag as it provides some level of protection but not like microchipping would.

Don't waste your money

I bought one for my dog about 4 months ago and it suddenly just stopped working... Tried getting help from the company itself and there just giving the run around. It's also really easy for the dog to pop the tag out of the holder thing and the app is not user friendly. The accuracy is far from what's advertised too! I've had my girl sitting beside me and the app will say she's up to 20ft away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 4 year old boarder collie. We have 20 acres and sometimes he likes to take off after some deer or turkeys, he always comes back but i thought this would give me peace of mind. I like the idea of it, its very easy to set up, the app is easy to walk thru and get going. Its easy to get this on the animals collar and its ready to use. The downfall is, once the animal goes so far, it disconnects and stops tracking. Well now for someone like me whos animal might take off a little further than your driveway, its useless. I had high hopes for it but it let us down.

A: The battery life is 6 months and is easily changed out with a regular watch battery CR2032 which can be picked up at any store that sells this style of battery. For more information, the Pawscout app can be downloaded for free and there are several tutorials and explanations on all of the functions of the product.
