Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. For the best finish, we recommend applying several light coats of Painter’s Touch 2X Spray Paint a few minutes apart. You also want to ensure that you are holding the can upright 10-16" from the surface and spraying in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Enough to do one door, plus touch up

The spray paint contained enough paint to cover my front door and do touch up the next day. It does smell quite strong after application, but it does dry fairly quickly.

Q: I used this paint on the inside of my princecraft yukon fishing boat. It looks great. Here is my concern, what can I use to prevent the paint from chipping off?

A: If the paint is already chipping then it didn’t adhere. If you have a good finish and you’re trying to preserve the paint job then top coat with an oil based varnish. I use spray paint all the time on wood, metal, plastic and if I top coat it annually I have no problem with chipping or fading. Good luck!

A: I used this paint in a matte cream for chairs. The matte is matte. Sprays on really well. A year later still perfect. Hope this helps.

A: Hi Dave, Great question! As long as the surface temperature does not exceed 200F, our Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover spray paint can be used on your lampshade. Just keep in mind, the heat may cause discolouration on the shade. And it's always best to test on a small area first.

A: Hi, Great question! We do not recommend our Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint for wheel frames as it will not hold up to the amount of wear & tear the wheel will be exposed to. We recommend our Automotive Enamel instead.

A: Hi Kaleigh, While our Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2X can go over varnished wood, we still recommend a very good clean using a cleaner & degreaser and light scuff sand with 220-grit for maximum adhesion. Make sure to test on a small area first.
