I wanted to wait 4 years before writing this review so it would fully reflect the treadmill.
To start this treadmill is a beast of a machine, it's very powerful and can handle weight and hold its speed ( I've used it for weighted backpack on inclines). The bad: the fan shorts the console screen, the heart rate monitors read phantom heart rates while running, the IFit has never worked since day one. The biggest failure of this treadmill is the controller module. After 2 years the incline control failed and 2 weeks ago the whole module failed, I bought a new one and revived the treadmill and is like new again, however it shouldn't have failed so early. For the price of this machine and it's failures I'm not going to buying a Nordic track treadmill again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this treadmill approximately 3 years ago. My previous treadmills have lasted a minimum of 10 years, this one started having problems at two years. Belt broke, and replaced by Icon which was good but the display quit operating just after 3 years. I will be buying a new treadmill but a make and model manufactured by a different company than Icon.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Fast and smooth

We purchased this display model for a third of the original price as our son, who is a para track athlete found our old treadmill wasn't fast enough anymore. The fact that the top speed is 12 mph was a big seller for us. Being a display model it was already assembled so we had to take it apart to get it into our basement. The instructions manual helped us to disassemble and reassemble the unit. It has been a few months and we are very happy with it. A few squeaks but hopefully we can read manual to help with that too.

Returned item to store due to fact the product wouldn’t start. The mother board would light up but didn’t function.

Really like the machine. Have had it for 2 years and it's been great. Chose it for the larger track size but was also pleased with the many options and features.

A: Hi Jerry. This delay is annoying. I hope you did not overtight, No my don't make noise, my opinion motor is to loud, i was hoping 3.HP will work smooth on low speed. If it slide to side you need adjust belt but very slowly like maybe 3mm turn and see what happen

A: Seeing as Canadian Tire is fluffing this one. I can tell you seeing as I bought one. It is the 2015. It is back lit. This is not the new 2016 model.

Q: My C990 is squeaking only when i step on the right side. what do i do? it doesn't matter if it's running or stopped, it squeaks if i step on the right side. I checked that everything is balanced and leveled. Keep in mind, this is literally two days old. it is squeaking from day 1. can you help?

Q: What year is this one? I have read some reviews and says it has a usb port and able to connect to wifi, but at store (no help) I do not see a usb port or if wifi enabled.

A: This model is based on a 2015 release year. After checking the manuals for all 4 editions or updates I don't see any reference to a USB or HDMI port. They do have WiFi capability to do software updates, Live Classes, iFIT workouts, Google Maps etc. For more information please visit www.ifit.com or call 866-608-1798.

Q: Can anyone answer me on how many pieces this treadmill comes in? is it 1 box or multiple boxes? is it 4-5 assembly pieces or am i looking at a rather large puzzle here? Thank you.

A: The package dimensions are: 85" D x 29.9" W x 14.1" H. There is only one box. You can view the manual which will show the steps for assembly so that you can decide if it's too much to undertake. A: CTR introduced the 0847881 NORDICTRACK C990T on 4/8/15. It first went to stores later that year in September 2015. The NordicTrack model # is NTL19814C. This is an older NordicTrack style now and no longer available anywhere but CTR.
