not weather proof

bought the set plus another light, lasted less then 2 years. the on/off switch in the middle of the bulbs corroded.

Noma Solar Light

Purchased this to light up front deck of house when I am away. Turned it on at 2100 last night. When I returned at 0700, light was still on. Hard to tell how bright as it was now daylight. Only thing missing is a photocell to turn off light during daytime hours. Easy to disconnect solar panel which I keep inside at night and outside during day to charge. Not exposed to elements this way.

I bought 2 of these they are great but you can't get extra pendant lights (52-6785). I called Canadian tire head office and Noma 1 866 827 4985 they said they are not making them anymore. They include 1 light in the box why not have extra one's for sale for the second port like they did before.

panneau solaire double tres performant meem en lumiere faible. possibilite d'ajouter une deuxieme lumiere . j'ai une deuxieme lumiere plus forte et ca fonctionne tres bien avec ce panneau

Work well in Haiti

We purchased these lights to take on a mission to Haiti. We took 2 panels and 2 extra lights for the 4 room house that was built for a family. We installed them in 2012 and they are still working today Jan 2014. They are dimming, but I think that the battery needs to be changed. We are returning to Haiti in May and will purchase more of these units to take with us to bring light to more families that have never had electricity. Will bring fresh batteries as well!

Q: I don't see a mounting bracket The "stand" and the suction cups are in the box but I don't see a bracket. I want to mount this on our shed so it doesn't blow away. Right now it's useless.

A: with suction cups and stand removed..you may use holes for suction cups to screw it to any wood surface, don't over tighten..you may crack the plastic around the holes..worked for me.

A: I love this light. stays on for a long time. I use it in my gazebo with plenty of cord . In fact had to wrap it several times to shorten the cord

Q: I would like to know an estimation for how many hours can the LED lights be use, after a full charge? If it charges at daytime i.e. let's say 7 to 8 hours a day of sunlight, for how long can you use the LED light at night? will it last more than 5 hours of usage? How much WATTS does the SOLAR provide to charge the AA battery that comes with it.

A: batteries have milli-amp hour ratings usually 200 or 600 or 800 mah find out the led power draw and divide it into the battery m.a.h. example: 80 milliamp l.e.d. light on a 800= 10 hours

Q: On/Off Switch I'm curious if there is a switch on the light? I'm thinking of running the wire through the top air vent of my trailer for lighting at night.

A: yes there is an on/off switch (push button ) 0n bottom of light and also on/off switch at panel

A: In order to recharge a NOMA light, you will need to have the on/off switch turned to ON.
