Nice features

Like the built-in timer function, but would prefer if switch and timer controlled outlets are independent. The switch controls ALL the outlets simultaneously.

Directions- incorrect

The written directions were incorrect. I looked it up on YouTube and found some great directions. I spent a few hours trying to follow the written directions. It does work well now.

No need for a standalone timer -- it's built in. Use it on our boat where I only want to power a device for a certain amount of time. Half the outlets are timed -- the other half are always on.

A: Yes... it will retain the clock and timer settings (at least on the newer models of this product, but perhaps it won't on older models) as long as you had removed the plastic strip by the battery slot.

Q: Can one program be deleted while keeping the other programs? It is very annoying I have to remove the battery to delete all programs when I only want to delete 1 program. Thanks.

A: Hey Linda! Thank you for your feedback. I have connected with our product support team and here is the instruction for deleting programs: Please press the PRG button and select the PROGRAM you want to delete. Hold down the MODE button and PRG button to delete the “ON” setting. Similarly, using the same mode, hold down the MODE button and PRG button to delete the “OFF” setting as well. Q: Will my timer keep working beyond 7 days?

A: 7 day timer, as in you can set different times from Sunday to Saturday and then the time cycle repeats that set 7day cycle. Additionally, will retain settings even after a power-loss, no need to reset, unless you wish to set different times.

Q: Would this work outside in the -40 weather of Calgary? Some outdoor timers and electrical items are designed for outdoors or indoors. Would this do well in a garage (therefore away from moisture) where it can get to -40 degrees?

A: No, this power bar with a digital timer isn't suited for outdoors, especially if you plan on using it in a wet and/or cold location!

Q: Programmable Outlets Do all 4 programmable outlets have to be on the same programmed times meaning they all come on at once and all go off at once, or can the 4 outlets be programmed separately to come on and off at different times.

A: The battery to use for this item is a 1.5V AG13 battery. You can also use LR44, L1154, PX76A and GPA76 would work as well.
