The Mastercraft GFCI 4-Outlet Power Bar can monitor its own internal electrical current and shut down when it detects the potential for electric shocks. The bar boasts a 6’ (1.8 m) long, heavy-duty, 14-gauge cord that makes a solid choice for use in difficult locations. All 4 outlets on this Mastercraft power bar are grounded, and the bar itself uses a heavy-duty ABS construction that provides it with impressive durability. Good product but not for locations near water?

Not for outdoor use and not near water We mistaken we purchased this product to use outside and give us a few more plugs for our backyard pond. Unfortunately after reading the fine print I realized it was actually an indoor product only. With the GFIC rating I figured it would be outdoor. My mistake I did not read the info when ordering. Not great product for indoors!! Although if it is not supposed to be near water... I am not sure why I It touts a GFIC. Rating?

Q: We just purchased this power bar. The reset button lights up red and does not shut off when reset. Is it normal for this light to be red at all times or should it go off upon being reset?

A: HEllo; The reset button on my device has been red ever since I plugged it in. I also reset it and it's still red.I guess it's supposed to be that way.
