Q: I turned on the light and the bulb exploded inside the glass part it was a 60 w bulb and i read it can take up to a 100w bulb why did this happen

A: The 052-4025 is rated for a 100W bulb. If the bulb exploded it is most likely a defective bulb. If it was the fixture or if the fixture was wired incorrectly it would have shorted or tripped the breaker.

A: Yes LED bulb can be used in this fixture. A light sensor can be installed but this will void the warranty. Also note CSA approval was given on fixture without light sensor.
