I like it so far, but...

I just bought the NOCO Genius G7200 and I really like it, but It’s true about the cheap power cord which tends to crack below zero, but it says in the manual: Ambiant Temperature between 0C and +40C. Now, I know for a fact that a rule of thumb is to not charge a battery below 0C so “by deduction” NOCO’s Cold temperature’s definition is: Between 0C and 10C, which is not in the manual and this is a real problem for me because it's an hazard if used in temperature below 0C because it could result in harm, fire and death if the powercord cracks. just saying. Be adviced. Besides the cord, second best charger EVER.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Over-hyped

Tried it on 2 different batteries, both that had been put away charged and are less than 2 years old. It gave errors on both, so I tried the "repair" feature. I then tried charging again with the same results. I abandoned the NOCO charger and put them in the vehicles and they work just fine. What good is a battery charger that won't charge a battery?

Mais les fils sont de mauvaise qualité,la gaine a tendence a craqué surtout par temps froids et si les fils se touche, ils peuvent griller le

Took a little messing around with to get used to it. I used it to charge and boost my softail motorcycle. Highly recommended! Works like a charm. Was cold and started right up, after a 15 min charge from dead. Watched a few YouTube videoes to see is used in defferent ways.

A: Yes, if they are wired in series (positive to negative) for a 24V system, you can charge and desulfate them together using the appropriate 24V mode.

A: As long as the combined amp-hour capacity of your 12V battery bank is 230Ah or less, you can use the G7200 to charge and maintain them both using the appropriate 12V charging mode. If the combined amp-hour capacity is more than 230Ah, which is the charging limit of the G7200's 12V charging modes, then you would only be able to charge them one at a time with this model.

A: No it is not. Boost mode is a charging method for extremely low voltage batteries as well as a power supply mode.

Q: Mounting the Noco Genius 7200 in a lumber stacker. I have a lumber stacker that is kept outside. It has 2-12 volt deep cycle batteries. Will this charger be suitable for charging/maintaing the batteries in this application? the charger will be protected from the elements.

Q: Charging while the battery is connected to a load Can I connect the G7200 to a battery (10-2498) while it is still connected to an inverter (11-1846)? Or could that damage to the inverter? Should I disconnect the inverter before charging?

A: I would read the review from the person that stated that it can or did damage his inverter by presenting it with 17.5V and the max the inverter is designed or approved for or will handle is about 15.5

Q: Trickle charge In trickle mode will it deliver 7.2 amps or will it adjust itself to fewer amps? I hear anything past 2-3 amps could be bad for the battery. I'm using this in a 12v car battery. If so is the g3500 better at 3.5 amps?
