Worked good for me with no leaks , pressed bearings all day . Hard to pump when trying to get closer to the 10 tons mark but it's not a pro model so to get more you got to spend more but perfect for little jobs and for the average user.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Used this press once at 5 TONS, half of its capacity and it leaked hydraulic oil - this happened after the first use! Taking back for refund. Don't waste your time - I saw another review here same problem - it's very heavy to be returning.

Q: As recieved, the pressure guage face on my unit shows it is almost full of fluid (Oil?).Is this normal?
2 Answers
A: Yes, this is normal.
The oil in the gauge is there to stabilize the needle. It causes a damping effect so that the needle does not bounce when you pump the handle.
The oil that is in the gauge is self contained and is not the hydraulic fluid used in the pressure system of the press.
I hope this helps.

Q: Hi I have a MotoMaster Shop Press, 10-Ton. I want to install a pressure gauge with a higher resolution? Is it possible to replace the current pressure gauge with a new one?
1 Answer
A: The hydraulic line fittings on this MotoMaster Shop Press are standard size fittings, therefore you would be able to replace the pressure gauge. However, in doing so, support is unavailable for this product.

Q: Does the “ Ram” retract on its own or do you have to push it back manually.
1 Answer
A: If no air trapped in the hydraulic system, the ram will retract itself once the release valve is loose.
