Not The Same Product Anymore

The product has been reformulated. It used to be the most amazing cleaning solvent for the shop. Not anymore. It's basically just spray acetone now. I actually tried to clean some paint overspray off today and found that isopropyl alcohol did a better job. The old formula would have stripped it right off in one swipe. I guess it was too good to last...

Worse new product with same label, BEWARE 2025

Ever since Canada passed the dumbest VOC regulations for "cleaning up" our dirty air, this product has changed. It no longer dries as it once did, leaves a greasy residue like WD40. It's much less effective for one reason, they REMOVED the toluene (can of toluene discontinued too). They also replaced the propellants, carbon dioxide is now used. This means it's not self pressurizing like it did when isobutane and propane were used. Get ready for half full cans with no pressure. This can is mostly acetone now. Pathetic.

Good formula, nice high pressure

This stuff is great. Used it to clean a rear diff cover, I just had it lying around, figured I’d use it up. High pressure can, good stuff, cut right through it. Definitely recommend.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. This is a solvent-based heavy duty degreaser for metal parts. You should protect rubber parts from over-spray. If you do get some spray on them, please make sure to wipe clean immediately.
