Q: What are the felt pieces for?
3 years agoA: They will help minimize corrosion buildup that otherwise typically occurs on the posts. Place them on the base of the battery posts before installing the terminals.

Q: Do I need these to use with a trolling motor? Will I need a set of these to connect my Shakespeare 12V 32lb thrust trolling motor to my Nautilus Group 27 Battery before I use it or can I just connect the U shaped ends on the motor directly to the battery?
12 years agoA: No. These terminals are used to convert an automotive post to a threaded post. Your Nautilus battery already has threaded posts that you can connect your trolling motor to.
