Good now. My last Canadian Tire battery was Not Good.

It appears to be a good battery. I’ll confirm that in 2 to 5 years.

New battery.

AGM Battery, what can I say? It works. I wasn't happy with the way I was treated by some of the staff but I should have gotten something in writing first.

Overpriced Junk

This thing didn't last 3 years. Bought in 2022 won't pass a load test in 2025. Does not like cold weather despite being advertised in an ice truck. Battery would not take a charge below -32C driving down the highway. Truck is driven daily, and averages 30,000km per year. Original OEM battery lasted 10 years. Pure garbage and super overpriced. CT won't honor the warranty as I don't have original papers, yet they can look it up in their system and told me over the phone it qualifies for the 60 month warranty. Super annoying.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Exchange battery, stronger one, after other dead

Seems to be a sturdy battery and holds its charge at 12,45 Volt. Will see what its charge is in 3-4 years. So far very good.

Ripped off $700

Bought this, installed it. Started the car once and then it was dead. Turns out the battery was five years old, just been sitting on the shelf all this time. Take it back, CT says we don’t refund for defective products. Battery is older than warranty so no joy there. So I’m out $668 for a battery I don’t have. Fortunately I paid by credit card, so it’s chargeback time.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: will battery fit,gmc hd 2500.2008?

  • A: Your truck uses a Group 48 battery. (This is sort of a European size.) Looks like Eliminator only offers this product in a Group 34/78 dual terminal and a Group 65. You might be able to make the 34/78 fit but you'd probably have to jerry-rig a holddown.

  • A: PS. At about 100 bucks (x 2) less than what I paid for my Odysseys, this battery is a steal. Not that I'm complaining - they've been worth every penny - my Duramax starts like butter no matter how cold.

Q: Is this heavy duty battery now made by the same company which makes the rest of your eliminator brand EAst Penn?

  • A: Due to the competitive nature of our business we do not generally disclose who our manufacturing partners are. We work with a broad range of suppliers from around the globe, and all products are designed and tested to meet the quality standards specified by MotoMaster. If you have any questions about the use of this product, we are glad to try to answer them.

Q: I have a high compressio drag car (13-1) engine big block chevrolet..the battery has been re located in the trunk of my monte carlo. Will this sucker have enough amps to turn over this engine sufficiently

1 Answer
  • A: It definitely will have enough amps within the first 5 seconds to turn over the engine, however, since the battery was relocated the biggest concern would be getting the amperage from the battery up to the starter. If you've used adequate gauge wiring, you will have no problems, even when it gets colder this winter. A big benefit of the Motomaster Eliminator Extreme product line is the ability to supply strong cranking power and strong capacity in a single battery which is definitely working in your favor for this application.

Q: Is there any chance you will offer this battery in a Group 48 size? I've used it in my last two trucks and been very happy with it. I'm disappointed to find I cant buy the UltraAGM for the 2008 Silverado I just bought.

1 Answer
  • A: We currently do not offer a Group Size 48 battery in this product line. As an alternative, consider the newly available OPTIMA YellowTop Group Size 48 battery - 010-0023.

1 Answer
