Great product!! Does not wear off after a few washes. Used on my tonneau cover that was fading. Also works well on exterior plastic trim that grey’s out over time.

A: Back to Black could be used on newer black. In fact, the surface does not need to be black. The product adds a layer of protection against UV rays and the elements.

Q: Anyone used this stuff on black plastic car mats? Wondered how it worked on them.

A: We do not recommend any "restorer" or "protectant" product on plastic or rubber floor mats, as it would make them slippery. In addition, that will make the soles of your shoes slippery and subsequently transfer to your brake, gas and clutch pedals and cause a safety concern in and out of the vehicle. We recommend cleaning them thoroughly with our Back-to-Back Tire Cleaner #39324/09324 (formerly called Tire Renew). Follow with a water-dampened cloth wipe down with a damp cloth, then dry, to remove any remaining cleaning residue.
