Q: Can mats absorb water or other liquids ? Specially in winter when its not so warm outside, can the mats absorb water (unlike other mats where water stays on the mat top surface)

A: The mat that is being referenced 031-2017 Rubbermaid front mat, is manufactured with an engineered plastic. There is very little water absorption and provided there is no holes in the product, water will not penetrate through to the underside.
