This scaffold is very useful for light to medium work where you need a stable elevated platform. It's heavy enough to be sturdy but easy to move around, fold up, and store. Assembly is easy and takes a few minutes. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this item.

Q: Are there no options for more platforms? Also, Has anyone not found the railings to get in the way while working? Rail looks like it would get in the way, guess it can be turned around so open end faces job? If working on platform w/material (ie. taping/tiling/masonry/etc..) another platform for materials would help avoid up & down no?

  • A: Additional platforms can be purchased on a special order basis through Canadian Tire. We find the number of planks and step up rails in the current package does accommodate most consumers. The guard rail is an added safety feature in helping consumers up and down the scaffold – nice grab point and makes most users feel real secure. If you feel it gets in the way it can be removed and used without it. The cut out in the planks hold the scaffold securely in the open position. For some projects like taping/mudding there is a very good utility tray that is ideal for that application. For tiling and masonary we find some users will put the wide plank they are standing on in the 1st or 2nd rung position and the other wide plank in conjunction with the narrow step up rung together to hold tile and masonary tools at the 3 rung position so the product is at knee level in front of you.
