Q: Just bought the unit today. It is very noisy while running, increasing on lower speed. It is quiet when power is turned off and the unit slows down. Is this normal, or should I get a replacement unit?

Q: How long is the full useful length of the arbor shaft if metal casings are removed? But still leave room for the nut?

A: Please clarify the reason why you would like to remove the metal casing, this grinder cannot remove the metal casting , it may result in serious personal injury.
The length of arbor shaft is 20mm, and the thickest wheel can be used is 20mm.

Q: Does it really come with thick spacer if I decided to put a wire wheel? I didn't see it on the packaging, or is it already installed in the unit?

A: Yes. It does come with one thick spacer about 5-6mm thick. It's packed with the coolant tray.
It took me a while to figure it out.
