The sockets and driver feel like good quality and I look forward to using them. The sizes included are a great match for automotive work, but you will need to buy more specialty sockets outside of this set.
I'm quite happy with the set overall, the case is good quality too which is a bonus.

A: Yes there is. :o) It seems that you have a lot of questions regarding this Impact driver! May I suggest that you simply do a "Impact Driver" search on your computer to see what it is exactly,...and it's primary functions,..and how to accomplish these functions. There will no doubt be videos showing you everything that you need to know about it. This will save all these folks from having to type paragraph after paragraph in trying to enlighten you. As they say,..a picture is worth a thousand words...and a video is worth even more so! :o) Hope this has helped you?

Q: You are supposed to use a hammer? You're supposed to put the impact bit adapter - with a bit - on to the impact driver and hit it with a hammer -- isn't the point to use an impact drill?

A: YES! Hammer away! This tool is priceless for showing stubborn rusted - on screws who's the Boss! You can also attach a socket to "Budge" stubborn nuts too! Also! get a set of Bolt remover sockets to attach for rounded off nuts and stubborn bolts too. ( I'm sure that THOR has one of these too? ) :o)

Q: is CT going to bring back the stamped sizes instead of the lasr etching that rubs off?

A: one can dream... etching is far cheaper. If canadian tire did switch back they would raise the price then people would be crying foul. It does come with a printed cover in the lid if you keep your tools organize you should never have a problem anyways.

Q: How does the 1/2" drive impact driver work? I recently purchased the 7.5 amp impact driver as well as the impact socket set. I can't see how the impact driver in the socket set fits on the impact driver as they both have male ends. Guidance would be appreciated.

A: Impact drivers don't attach to anything you put in your bit set the direction and strike it with a hammer its ment for set screws more or less

A: These sockets can be used with manual hand tools like ratchets and breaker bars, however they are impact rated which make them able to be used on power or air tools like impact wrenches
