Lorsque je l ai sortie de son emballage apres l avoir acheté plus de un an auparavant, le tape a mesurer ne tient pas... vous devez enlever la poignée et enlever le cran d arret, chauffer le stopper sur le cran d arret avec un heat gun pour lui donner une forme plus droite, moin arrondit temps de la reparation 20 minutes apres ça il marche tres bien et tres pratique.

Unnecessary Junk. Solution looking for a problem

Gimmick that nobody needs - drywallers learn to make rip cuts by holding their utility knife and tip of tape in one hand and their other on whatever the width needs to be. No pro would ever buy or use this.

i wouldnt bother

I tried the drywall axe, thinking it would help with my renovations. it didn't the tape measure part wont hold hard to use, I had to re-measure so many times as it would move, I think Canadian Tire could of done a better job on this tool, its a great idea just needs a bit more work put into the product

Back to basics

i got this "tool" for christmas as I'm doing a big reno in the basement. This tool is the biggest headache. When you lock it in place and start running it down the drywall it comes loose and now your line is way off. Buy a utility knife and a drywall square. when your doing long cuts just get a straight board and line it up, step on it with your foot or get a buddy to hold it and boom straight cut.

Q: Warranty The video for this product shows "Lifetime Warranty" however in the features of the product it states "1 year exchange warranty". Which statement is correct?

A: The package indicates. This Maximum product carries a no limit warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Blade and tape measure carry a 1 year warranty. If found defective (and you have your receipt) this product will be replaced free of charge. This product is not guaranteed against wear or breakage due to misuse and/or abuse. That being said if there is an issue with the tape or blade within 1 year, the Canadian Tire store will replace it when you return it with your receipt. If there is a defect on the main unit they would replace it as long as you can produce the receipt and the product is still available. It might be a good idea to staple the receipt to the product cardboard insert for warranty.
