Good compressor but leaking regulator

Compressor is super quiet and pumps up very fast. The regulator has started leaking after only a couple years and is getting progressively worse as time goes on. Doesn’t matter what pressure I have it set to, it will start leaking and if not turned on it will leak until all air is gone from the tank. A bit frustrating when I want to leave it pumped up to use next time. I haven’t tried to see if CT will cover it under warranty but they have messed up their warranties on tools and don’t offer lifetime anymore on many items.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great while it worked.

This compressor is quiet and compresses a solid volume of air for its weight.
It was fantastic until it began leaking from the regulator.
Canadian Tire will not return it over the counter so I'm stuck using their customer service line which is only open Monday to Friday from 6:30AM to 2:30PM Mountain Time.
Old Canadian Tire would have replaced it in store or refunded it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this compressor adequate for inflating car tires?

A: No portsble air compressor on its own should ever be used to fill tires without first being cooled and dried. Only in an emergency situation should you do this. Compressed air is very hot and contains alot of moisture. Tires should be filled with only dried, cooled air. Unless hooked up to 1 of more auxillary cooling tank, moisture seperators, or some other form of air drying system, no air compressor should be used to fill car tires. This isn't a well known fact. Even wonder why you need to keep refilling the same time over and over again? Its because you keep filling pumping it up it with hot air and water

A: Do not know as I only used it to drive about 20 3 1/2 inch nails with the framing nailer so, not sure it will keep up.

Q: Recently mine has been shutting off before the tank reaches capacity and will not refill when pressure gets low. I have to shut it off for a few minutes and then turn it on again just for it to refill but not to capacity. What is happening here?

A: Check your filter, make sure that there is no build up anywhere on the outside of the motor/pump area. Maybe your units just overheating, and as a result stops itself.
