Q: The graphite brushes on the motor are worn out and it won't turn on. What are the dimensions or part number for the motor carbon brushes?

A: The dimensions I used to replace the carbon brush are 6x10x28. I bought mine on amazon; the one I purchased is the carbon brush itself, which does not include the housing for it. So you have to re-use your old housing and put in your new carbon brush with the spring included. Make sure when taking out the old carbon brush, you leave enough copper wire to be long enough so you can solder it to the new carbon brush and to plug it in. Q: can I use the standard bags that came with the unit with my orbital sander (for finish sanding of bare wood) or do I need to use the high efficiency (drywall) bags?

A: Hmmm. Mine didn't come with a bag, a filter over internal motor intake. Drywall or fine particular matter bags specific for your sander would be best.

A: The holes in the feet that support the wheels? If so, they hold the rigid tube sections when not in use. Pretty handy on my unit.

A: It uses shop vac bags and filters. The correct Canadian Tire part numbers are listed on a sticker on the side of the canister and in the manual.

Q: Suction Issue, Please Help I used mine for the first time today and it had very little suction. The reviews are all excellent, so I am wondering if I am missing something with the setup? Does anyone have any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong?

A: check ur hose to make sure theres nothing blocking the hose , I have without noticing sucked up a folded paper towel and that blocked the neck of the floor attachment so check all hoses and attachments

Q: Can I buy just a replacement hose for this unit? I have an older Mastervac than this one, but it appears to have the same hose and hose connection. I've stepped on the end of the hose and crushed the plastic, and now I can't connect the extension tubes or other accessories.
