Bought this to find pet stains, unsure if this really works as good as intended, perhaps more time using this will change my view.
Seemed to flicker a bit when first using, but then stopped. Overall seems to be well built.
THERE SHOULD BE A WARNING ABOUT THE DANGERS OF UV LIGHT

Weak and finicky

I use this flashlight to cure liquid compounds and it takes forever. I would not recommend for this type of usage. It is weak, and it also flickers often if I put too much pressure on its head when placing it against a flat surface.

Q: How good is this for caterpillar hunting at night?

A: We use it to help us navigate movements from the basement to the first floor. The light is "bright" and "wide" enough. We walk up in full darkness, "the light does what it suppose to do" - concentrate on the area(s) it is aimed at. We use it inside our home, we don't know about its usefulness for "hunting at night"!
