Q: Why make metric sizes of 16mm and 18mm? 95% of us purchase these gear wrenches for use on automotive repairs.I would say that almost every manufacturer uses these common sizes: 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 17mm and 19mm. 16mm and 18mm are not required.
13 years agoA: Original poster is 100% correct. 16 and 18 mm are not only rare, but extremely rare. Brake lines are better served with flare wrenches. CT's Corporate Buyer's are hugely flawed in their methodology. A very frustrating situation for the consumer. This should have been rectified by now. These are not perfect quality, with some minor machining deviations, but nothing of concern, still excellent quality. The arrows could be more visible, but the straight part of each wrench has small knurls on one side to allow one to feel if s/he is holding the wrench to loosen or tighten. It is subtle but can be felt with a bare hand. Packaging is good, but could be made to enable trimming of the plastic to take less space on the wall. Also wrenches are not very secure in the vertical, I use one of the original packaging straps to secure the top parts of the wrenches in the holder. Also labelled the slots with sizes myself.

Q: warranty on wrenches are done in store, do you need bill I have Mastercraft Maximum ratcheting wrench set and one wrench the ratchet is skipping. How do i get warranty ? . I got the wrenches as a gift, so i do not have the bill ???
