doesn't hold together when full of tools

I use the chest for about ten years at work as a heavy truck and machinery mechanic and now the frame is cracked at both upper corners and the flimsy drawer locking mechanism doesn't hold normal use because the drawer handle pivots are made of very thin sheetmetal tabs that break off with time (fatigue). I'd say that compared to other brands entry level professional tool chests of comparable price range (I hope nobody bought this one at regular price), this one is inferior in design, especially the locking mechanism.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Would you be able to attach a vise to the top of this workbench?

A: I have this toolbox in my service trailer and I made a 3/8 thick plate i bolted to the top through from under the cabinet wood and through the vice with 2 extra sets of bolts so I can move the vise to hang over the edge if needed. the bolts face with the thread side facing up and the 3/8 plate is threaded so the bolts dont fall out when switching the vise position.

A: Im a mechanic at a chev dealer. We have a pretty high volume of work. I have been usign this box for about a year now and its still like the day i bought it. awesome box!!!!!!!

Q: Does the top box sit on the butcher block of the bottom box? When adding the top box do you keep or remove the wooden top of the bottom box?

A: Its not as safe to leave the top box with the wood top on the bottom box because with the wood top on, the rolled edges of the bottom box serve no purpose to hold the top box more securely. Removing the wood butcher top is best when using the top box but it doesn't matter if you never roll around your tool box. If its stationary then leave the wood top on and throw on your top box as it'll add an extra POP for color combination!

A: I also just purchased the top chest, and bottom cabinet, and have been looking everywhere for the connector clips... seems they are NOT actually included... will have to call and have them sent.... something of an inconvenience, I must say, especially considering the cost of the unit(s).

Q: Can you order different color trim for this box? i know they come black but the trim at my local CT store has blue handles (trim) , can i get it in chrome or all black? Or do i have to special order it even when its on sale? Im looking for the exact box as depicted in picture above. Thanks

A: the one shown in the picture is the 11 drawer with silver handle the one with blue handles is a 10 drawer Euro cabinet it is slightly smaller
