Surface deteriated to become very sticky

I bought the previous model years ago. And surface went sticky and was only used twice. I got no satisfaction from store. Talk to another person who had the same problem

Works great as it should

I have had this heat gun for several years now and maybe used it a half dozen times. I pull it out of the box to use it today and the rubber on the casing and hand grip is deteriorating making it very sticky. I had to use WD to get ithe sticky residue off my hands. Other than that it works great.

Excellent heat gun

Primarily I use this heat gun to bend plastic conduit piping. I have also used this heat gun to bend hockey stick blades, strip paint from balcony rails and dry a damp floor when my ac unit leaked on the floor. I also lent this gun to my neighbor who was trying to remove decals from his taxi using a conventional hair dryer. He was not able to generate enough heat with the hair drying (even after half an hour) This heat gun did the job in 1 minute. The unit produces a lot of heat and gets the job done every time. The accessories and OK (not very impressed with them) but the carrying case is very sturdy. When on special, this heat gun is steal. Highly recommended product

Bought this in a case on sale and didn't know it came with different ends for different uses. Now I use it for stripping paint, vinyl wrapping things and shrink tubing.
