It looks like it's good quality. The steel is a little thinner than I expected. I haven't had a chance to give it a good workout, but I'm expecting the best. I will update the review if that changes.

Q: Could this pail be used to put a 4x4 post that is 6feet tall and surrounded by quick drying concrete. Will it stay standing? I want to surround my patio with curtains.

A: It’s deep enough to do this . I would say a 4 x4 post would be the max it could hold . Maybe a 1 x3 would be sufficient to hang a curtain . A 5 gallon bucket would be better.

Q: Can this pail be used to burn wood or as a charcoal starter? With fire starter liquid? That is, can it take temperature well above 600F?

A: Not sure what temperature. But we did use it to put our hot used bbq charcoal into, and it was fine.
