Cette toupie va à merveille tant pour faire des belles bordures de pièces de bois que pour faire des planches embouvetés. Fonctionne autant bien sur le support que seulement l’outils pour faire les motifs. Ne manque pas de moteur même dans le bois dur comme le frêne et le merisier

This is my first router table and I'm very pleased. It was easy to set up and is firm since I clamped it to saw horses. Micro adjustments to the router are easy with the routers control.

Q: when I screw in the router underneath the table the screws on the top of the table are not flat. So they cause the wood to have to go over a small bump where the screws stick out above table. What did I do wrong with the installation?

Q: Is there a difference between the table in the 054-6938-6 table/router set and the 054-6841-4 table? Are both compatible with the 054-2433-0 Maximum router set?

A: Both tables are about the same as each other - only 1/4" difference in the table size. I've got the table/router set and very happy with it. It definitely does what I need. I had a plunge/fixed router set before - no table as didn't think I'd use it - but I found it difficult keeping the same pressure on the router when using the plunge. When that burnt out, within a couple of months, I exchanged the set and got the 054-6938-6 set on sale. Not sure if it will fit the router set you list but looks like it should do.

Q: can a 1 and 3/4 bit be used with this router? what is the largest bit diameter that can be used?

A: As long as the shank is 1/2 or 1/4, it should be possible. I think that the Mastercraft answer thought you were talking about a shank of 1 3/4 inch. I'm assuming you mean the width of the actual cutter not the shank. As for the largest bit, keep in mind that the router has no speed adjustment so running a very large bit at high speed could be problematic. The larger the bit, the slower you will want to go because of the amount of material being removed.

A: Not sure about adapter, but the motor does come apart from the fixed base, just hold the coarse adjustment button in and pull the motor out of the base.
