Get this when set it goes on sale once a month and put them in your tool box. I Love this set and grab it first for most of my socket jobs.

Excellent Ratchet Set!

I have this in my portable tool bag and would be lost without it. Amazing quality! One of the best ratchet sets I have used. Great for any job in or out of the house. Only downfall is it does not come with extensions but for a few bucks more to buy some it's not a big deal. My friends always ask to borrow the ratchet and never give it back, I have to always go get it. Bottom line don't lend it out! They will love it as much as you and you won't get it back! Got it on sale but would pay full price after using it.

This is a nce set. I recently got it on sale, and it has been pretty helpful. I used to pipe my ratchets for extra torque and leverage. This one is very helpful to remove tight bolts. Only thing that concerns me is that it flexes a little when you put your weight on it...but it's not too bad that you can see it flex a whole lot

Exactly what I expected

This is a very nice wrench. I waited for a long time for this one to go on sale at CT.
It's heavy, solid, and has a switch that locks the head position in place which is smart. The telescopic arm that moves up and down locks in place with a spring thingy similar to air hose connections. The added sockets that CT throws in makes this an amazing deal. The sockets are 12 points, I would have prefered 6 point.

Incredible ratchet!

After buying this item on sale and testing it out I finally see what all of the other reviewers have experienced! This is by far THE best, most useful ratchet in my collection or offered by Canadian Tire in my opinion. Extremely smooth, lifetime warranty but the gears can be replaced by removing two Phillips head screws and most of all it is comfortable. The sliding mechanism to adjust the length for added reach and torque is very well made and does not slip. The mechanism for locking the ratchet head is perfect and allows you to work from all angles. This ratchet is a must have for anyone doing a spark plug service on any Porsche vehicles (or anything difficult to access in general). In some cases it can eliminate the need to go get your breaker bar, just extend it fully to basically double your torque output. Ultimate tune up ratchet for all makes and models and of course is a must have. The sale price is unbeatable!

Q: Can I use this ratchet for lug nuts on the wheel?

A: This item can CERTAINLY be used on lug nuts for wheels - despite what the CT expert has said in the previous answer. The sockets cannot be used with an impact wrench or they may shatter, but once the nuts have been loosened by use of an impact gun or other tool then you can use this ratchet and sockets to remove and reinstall the nuts (and then tighten them to spec with a torque wrench).
