The Mastercraft ¼” NPT Female Replacement Air Compressor Pressure Regulator with Gauge enables precise air pressure control for pneumatic tools and inflatables. This ¼” NPT regulator features a gauge that’s been calibrated from 0-160 PSI. Simply turn the regulating knob clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to reduce it. This Mastercraft regulator can allow you to set the ideal pressure for a job, preventing both over- and under-inflation. The regulator’s durable construction and accurate air pressure adjustments make it an essential accessory for anyone who owns a compressor.

Q: Will this replace the regulator for the Jobmate 58-7958-4?

2 Answers

A: Yes it can, but some work is required. The covering to the motor must be removed, then the 4 bolts and nuts fastening the motor have to be removed as well to slightly move the motor back in order to be able to fasten the regulator on. Use teflon tape on all threads.

A: It depends on what’s the max pressure that the 20G CH air compressor is. The mentioned regulator suits for 0~150PSI output. But the vendor suggested that the actual running output PSI should be less than 100PSI to adapt to this regulator.
