J'ai acheté deux de ces crochets, je les ai installé récemment et ils sont parfaits. Toutefois, je ne recommande pas d'utiliser les vis incluses avec le crochet, car la seule que j'ai utilisée, une vis à tête étoile, a "strippé" (désolé, je ne parviens à traduire ce mot). J'ai utilisé des vis de construction à tête carrée un peu moins longues.

Works good holds lots of weight but the hook needs to be a little bigger and have more protection on it to not scratch or dent my bike so much

Q: Must the rear tire rest on the floor? I see in the picture that the hook is mounted at a height which allows the rear tire to rest on the floor. Would it be safe to have the hook mounted much higher on the wall to allow for more floor storage.

A: Due to the design, the rear tire does not need to rest on the floor. It is actually more common for it to rest against the wall.

Q: Can this support an e-bike?

A: How much does your bike weigh? What is the width of the tire? The hook is approximately 2" wide so your tire/ rim needs to be that size to "fit" in the hook. After that, I'd say your only limit is the weight of your e-bike. Make sure you put the hook into a stud! Doesn't matter how much weight the hook can hold if the drywall can't

A: This product is tested from bikes up to 50Ibs and is not tested for bar bells thus we do not recommend for safety reasons

Q: What is the maximum tire size I can fit in the bracket? Modern mountain bikes often have 2.6" wide tires

A: The hook working dimension for item 046-8207-4 is 2.3". Modern mountain bikes 2.6" tire width is a little over the hook, but the hook still can be used for it.
