Product Details

Equip your air tools with the Mastercraft Air Hose, 2-pk. This pneumatic hose features hybrid construction, allowing it to be lighter than a rubber hose and more flexible than a PVC hose. Extremely flexible in any weather condition, this air compressor hose works at temperatures of -40 to 65° C (-40 to 150° F). Hybrid construction allows this compressor hose to have maximum flexibility, even in cold temperatures or extreme heat. Bend restrictors help prevent kinking and twisting, lending greater resilience to this hybrid air hose. The hose lays flat and resists recoiling, allowing for ease of use. This air hose includes a ¼” (0.64cm) quick-connect coupler and plug, making it compatible with I/M, T and A-type plugs, as well as most compressors and tools.

The Mastercraft Air Hose is made from a mix of rubber and PVC, offering a lightweight feel and optimum flexibility which works well for general-purpose applications

Not usable outdoors during Ottawa's winters

I have returned this product. It's not suitable for outdoor use in Ottawa, Ontario winters. When I did at -25C it was too rigid to reel back up. I had to pick it up in a mangled pile of unpliable pipe, one cubic metre large. I brought it back in the garage which is not heated. I had to wait weeks for a warm spell before I was able to reel it back up.

Light duty hose

The 3/8" air hose is pretty light duty but it is good enough for a just around the shed, it is good value in the 2 pack. I am using one for a aerator hose off of a windmill and it seems to do the trick. It should hold up to the sun for a few years.
