Fantastic Saw

I've had this saw for about three years now and it's still going strong. Absolutely love the quick black change feature. I'd pair it with either the 2.0A or 4.0A battery though for prolonged use.

The battery (sold separately) lasts pretty good on this tool. Very useful for bringing to the auto scrap yard for cutting things like mufflers on cars etc. From day one, this tool has been doing the job nicely and especially, with no cord. Good power.

Bought this tool as part of a combo, it cuts greats. but drains the battery very fast. if I had the 4.0 amp battery it would be good. If you don't have the big battery, make sure to have a few spares.

I do not use this saw too often, but when I do, I am very satisfied with its performance.
Buy a set of assorted blades like I did, and you have a superb cutting tool.

Q: What length of saw blade does this saw use?

A: The saw blade shipped in the box is 5" (127 cm) long for the teeth. The saw can also be used with other sold reciprocating blades which are compatible and in appropriate working capability.

Q: My husband has a Mastercraft 19.2 V drill - can he use those batteries in this tool?

A: Unfortunately no. The Mastercraft 20V Max Reciprocating saw only works with Mastercraft 20V Max Lithium-ion batteries sold in CanadianTire – there are two batteries, product name 054-3125 for 2.6-3.0 Ah and 054-3124 for 1.3-1.5 Ah (batteries have been upgrading). We recommend you use 2.6-3.0 Ah battery 054-3125 for longer run time and better performance of the tool. Thank you.
