    I've had mine for a while now. It is becoming totally useless. it has lost a lot of torque. Most small fasteners now, even with a fresh battery need to be broken loose by hand.... Has a hard time breaking bolts with 15-20 INCH pounds.....

    1/4 20 Volt Impact Driver

    I originally purchased this driver after research on line, comparing price and functions. I use this driver on a regular basis, sometimes 5-7 days a week when working on small engines, and find it a great asset. It is light weight, holds a charge for a reasonable length of time, and loosens most bolts with no difficulty. It is a great time and effort saver vs. using a ratcheting socket set. Adaptors are available for 1/4 through 1/2 inch drive and there have been few bolts that I have had to "hand break".

    My new favourite tool. Just put on the winter tires with this and oh, so easy. I just don't like that you have to expel the battery every 2 months because I forget.

    Q: the bit is stuck in it and won't come out. Any suggestions?

    • A: To remove the bit, you will need to pull out the circular ring of the ¼” chuck and while this ring is pulled out, the bit should freely fall out.

    Q: Can I change this thing into impact wrench like #54-3121-6? Can I change this thing into impact wrench by ordering some kind of part?

    • A: You can use an adapter to change the impact driver into an impact wrench, the adapter should be 1/4’’ hex to fit on current impact driver and the other end should be square to use as an impact wrench. This kind of adapter could be found in store.
