doesn't do it all
I bought this and realized right away it doesn't do everying (ie lug nuts etc.) I obviousely assumed it wouldnt have the full 220 ft-lbs, but it couldnt even take off my 80 ft-lb lugs nuts. Upon an extensive searching online I learned that the rated torque is somewhat subjective. First point I'll make: the is a thing called "breakaway torque" so if your bolt or whatever is at 'X' ft-lbs it will take up to 4X's worth of torque to break it away, even more depending on rust etc. Hense even when I freshly torqued my lug nuts to 80 ft-lbs, the impact could not remove them moments later. Bacically fo most of my autimotive applications I was constantly using a breaker bar then swaping out the socket head to this to zap out the bot, still convinient but unessesary. Oh and ponzi nuts, didnt stand a chance. if your like my and its mostly for automotive I would HIGHLY recommend get a corded one; you have to drag an extension cord around the garage. The other thing I didnt mention, is that battery doesnt last too long at FULL charge; that is, after a small amount of time it will loose its max power, since I was always needing it to perform I found myself swapping batteries multiple times per job. Only time it was great was for non-automotive applications, like drilling in lag screws into a deck.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this impact wrench 2 months ago,,and used it for tire change and other different task in scrap yard,it does a good job,i changed tires of 3 cars at home, before buying this,i was paying almost 75 dollors for tire change for 3 car(tires with rims),then I thought to give it a try for tire change, and it did a good job,now I have one tool for tire change,so I can keep it in my car,can use it any time anywhere, dont need to go to garage for tire change or rotation, should be fully charged when you change tires,,otherwise it will not help you for tire change..its a good impact wrench at very reasonable price,,,recommended

For example, setting it to the requirements for how tight they should be for different vehicles when tightening lug nuts on tires.

A: Unfortunately you are not able to set to the torque setting to stop once it reaches a preset amount.

Q: does this come with a charger?
I bought one of these today and there was no charger in the box. Is it supposed to come with one? It shows one on the back of the package and in the manual.

A: I charged it and left it in the back of my jeep for 3 weeks in the winter. I then used it, without charging it, to rotate my tires. It worked wonderfully.

Q: Should I charge the battery before first use?
Should I charge it first or just start using it? The led indicates it's fully charged but I don't know if that's accurate. If I charge it for 3 hours as the manual states and it turns out it was already fully charged will I destroy the battery?

A: If the product number is 54-3165, this is a diagnostic charger. Which mean it is designed to diagnose the how much charge is currently in the battery and will only charge the remaining uncharged cells. It is manufactured as such that the battery will never have the opportunity to over charge as it will automatically shuts its self off when the charge is complete.

Q: Discontinued battery??
I went to my local CT store and they said the battery is discontinued and I can't purchase one from any of the surrounding stores. How do I go about getting a new battery for my impact gun?

A: You may purchase a new battery by simply calling the following toll free number: 1-800-689-9928. Make sure to have the seven digit product/ Sku number of the Impact Wrench handy. This number will be located on the cover of the owner's manual or below the foot of the wrench once you remove the battery
