Nothing but flames coming off your food

I can't cook anything on this. Everytime I try, my food goes up in flames and so does the grates and bottom even after I cleaned the whole thing out of grease and debris.

after only 1.5 years....the igniter seized and does not work. More aggregating, it barely gets hot at all and wo t cook. I took it fully apart and thoroughly cleaned it all out - but it will not get hot.
I suppose if you want a one year use BBQ - it will be fine. Another words, Save your money !!

Nothing fancy, basic grill

Recieved damaged. Didnt make a deal since it was mostly aesthetics.
Has electric ignition, which is much better than the click style igniter.
Assembly instructions were as expected, darn near impossible to follow.
Saying that, the bbq works relatively well. Prone to flare ups, even with a lean piece of meat.
But overall for the price you could probably get a couple seasons out of it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Is there a particular type of brush I should use to safely clean the grill? I don't want to scratch it.

A: Thank you for your question. You can use either a stainless steel bristle brush or a plastic bristle brush to remove any food left over on your grates. The key to protecting the porcelain stamped steel grates is to shut down immediately following your cooking session. Do not leave your BBQ on to burn off the grease after cooking. That grease is essential to protecting your grates when not in use. At the start of your cooking session, you can preheat on high and simply wipe away any left over grease. The only time you will need your brush is when food has stuck to the grates and you wish to remove the build up before beginning your next cooking cycle. One tip to note: When meats you are cooking are sticking to the grates, it is because the meats are not ready. When foods can be lifted from the grates without sticking, they are ready to be flipped. Do not use any scrappers on your grates as they are unnecessary. As well, following preheat, turn temperatures down to minimum or med for best cooking results.

The accessories for this model are as follows: Rotisserie Kit (sold separately) 85-1850 Barbecue Cover (sold separately) 85-3669 Note: This model does not include a rotisserie burner. Main burners will be used when rotisserie cooking. Hope this helps.

Q: The side burner flame is yellow. How can I adjust it to blue flame?

A: Thank you for your question. If you are experiencing yellow flames, please follow the burner cleaning procedure outlined in the maintenance section on page 16 of your Safe Use and Care manual.
