Have had it for nearly a year. Cooking grates warp. They also get very black and transfers a lot to the food. Temperature control is a huge issue it’s either way to hot with tons of flare ups. Or it’s not hot enough and takes way to long to cook. Side burner also does not get hot enough.
If you want a cheap bbq to cook hot dogs and hamburgers on this will work. It’s not for your expensive cuts of meat though.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Well worth the price

I bought this BBQ four years ago and it works very well. The grill, burners and warming rack are all rusted out at this point but I did not expect it to last long at this price. The only thing that bothers me is that it is cheaper to buy another one of these than to replace the rusty parts which is a huge waste.

J'avais l'acienne version et jamais été déçu: chauffe rapidement; allumeur marche toujours.
J'ai changé la grille, master chef en fond un autre modèle (une seule grille) et ce qui était le défaut est réglé. Mais c'est vrai que pour un poulet sur une canette de bière, la hauteur ne permet pas d'utiliser un support, mais juste la canette et le poulet sur une assiette d'aluminium, ça rentre juste.

Not worth it

Had the bbq for a month, used it four times, the grates are the worst..warped already and turns everything black because the grates are so close together. I called head office and said to call the manufacturer about the grates to get replaced. Will not return as it is a customer satisfaction issue that they don’t care about. They will only replace defective parts. It’s a piece of garbage.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Installing Venturi clip Instructions (#11) show hooking Venturi clip between side burner pipe and side burning valve, however there is no where to hook this clip. It will not hook around any grey (valve) pipe, and there are no openings. Where does this clip go?

A: The small end of the hook on the clip goes into the underside of the venture tube. The large end clips to the bottom of the main grey pipe coming from the inside of the burner box. Clip it to the under side from where the hose drops down to the tank and it should work for you. When attached the large end will be on the far side of the tube from your position.

A: Thank you for your question. We do not have any cast iron grill replacements for this size grill surface. The current cooking grates are porcelain coated stamped steel.

A: Bonjour et merci pour vos questions. Les tablettes ne sont pas rabattables. La tablette à gauche doit être assemblé car il s'attache à la valve du brûleur latéral - et si vous ne l'assemblé pas ce sera une problème de sécurité. Vous pouvez laisser la tablette à droite non assembler sans affecter les performances du barbecue - mais il n'est pas recommandé que le barbecue est CSA (sécurité) testé et certifié complètement assemblé.

Q: Est-ce que ça va rouiller, que puis-je mettre comme protection En l'utilisant pour la 1e fois j'y ai déposé mon assiette sur la tablette et j'ai bougé l'assiette normalement et la peinture est toute égratignée. Que puis-je faire ? Ce n'est pas normal pour un BBQ d'être aussi fragile !

Q: Push button Ignitor Switch not igniting the BBQ I bought S380 Master chef BBQ yesterday, assembled it and found two issues. 1. Push button Ignitor Switch not igniting the BBQ, I am able to ignite burners with match. 2. The Maximum - Minimum flame control switch for side burner is broken.

Q: how many inches from the top of the grill to the bottom of the lid? how many inches from the top of the grill to the bottom of the lid? wondering if i can do a beer-can chicken in this bbq. so i need at least 14in of space id think,

Q: installing ventury clip (S380 Barbecue) there is no way i can hook the clip as written in the instructions.. I followed all the instructions so im not really sure if the clip is too short or is it an installation error? I added a link to the video i posted
