Terrible quality! AVOID MASTER CHEF!

I got this bbq for Father's Day 2019 and here we are, less than 2 years later and it is now an unusable piece of scrap in my backyard. The heat distribution was never good but this year I was almost burned when the flames started coming out the front of the grill instead of under it. Melted the knob!! Since then, I have watched as similar things have happened to all 5 burners! Now out of an abundance of caution, I refuse to use it. AVOID MASTER CHEF AT ALL COSTS!

Flaming Piece of Garbage

This BBQ is the most unreliable piece of garbage that CanadianTire sells.Uneven heat distribution, cheaply made, and by far the worst BBQ I have ever purchased. They should return these to the vendor, and write an apology letter to every poor soul that purchased it. Stear Clear

Garbage. Burns everything

I bought this bbq thinking 5 burners would be great considering I’m feeding 7 people regularly. Sadly the bbq can’t cook well because if I turn the knobs even one knotch above minimum it burns everything on the grill. I’m stuck cooking at 200 degrees. Don’t buy this

Worst BBQ I have ever owned!!!! Flare ups are the worst, one side is cold and the other is way too hot then next time it's the opposite, also a terrible set up as you have to take everything out in order to clean it properly. I regret buying this bbq.

Bought this BBQ a couple years ago and it's the worst I ever got. Bad design? Always catches fire. Should be called Fire Chef, not Master Chef.

Q: How do you control The temp on this BBQ. Each nob has a section of 0 the. Goes 1-5 but it seems to either be too cold or too hot

A: Thank you for your question. This BBQ can operate very hot, when using all 5 burners at the same time. All burners should be used when the most heat is needed, like when searing steaks; for most cooking you can use fewer burners and also use indirect heat (example; lighting the right-side burner while cooking on the left side). Also, try preheating at lower temperatures instead of preheating at MAX. For tips and troubleshooting assistance please contact the Master Chef BBQ Support Centre at 1-855-453-2150.

Q: How can I get this bbq to have adjustable heat. It has High and low. Low is in low position and high is everything above low position. Very easy to burn everything

A: Hi thank you for your question. If your BBQ is experiencing high temperatures, please check to see if there is grease build up around the burner system causing overheating. Also, check to see if the grease collection plate and grease cup need to be cleaned.
