Good looks, appeals to boys. Fills a gap for a short while.

Good in a pinch. Fit well on my 6 year old. Bought on his second day of riding camp (Pedal Heads) as he was progressing so fast that he needed the extra gear. Canadian Tire pulled through in a pinch. My kid loves the spider man pattern. Unfortunately I deducted 2 stars because the overall durability of the product is low. The hard parts are rivetted to the webbing. This design will cause the hard protective parts to rip away as soon as any moderate or higher fall occurs. These are very good for when your kid is just starting out or if needed in a pinch, they will hold you over for maybe a season until you need to upgrade to something a bit more durable.

Broke after 4 uses

I bought these for my 4 year old who is learning to cycle without training wheels - lots of falls! They were easy enough to use and protected his hands etc from all the tumbles. On day 4 with them the hard shell came right off the knee pad. The only things keeping it behind the fabric were big metal washers - it wasn't stitched in at all. I returned the set.

No, I do not recommend this product.
