Leaks at pump

I bought one to pump oil from 20 liter pails to smaller containers. I made more of a mess with this pump than if I’d just used a funnel as it leaks bad from the top seal for the pump shaft. It also has a powder coated paint on most parts that I noticed left small bits pass through the pump and out the hose. Returned it. If you want a good pump you’ll have to spend more money and buy a good brand lol.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good product besides the fact that it leaks.
Easy to install
Works as it should for the most part but it does leak out of the pump lever section.

La première pompe que j’ai acheté était bien une Lumax et fonctionne encore très bien, mais la deuxième est une Powerbuilt et elle ne travail pas bien. J’ai dû remplacer le O Ring en partant car elle coulait, pas sur que sa durée de vie va être aussi longue que la Lumax.

ITS 2 3 TIMES HARDER THEN THE REULAR PUMP. DOESN'T WORTH THE PAIN UNLESS U WANA SKIP THE GYM

A: Response from vendor: The LX-1300 has been tested and is compatible with the following edible oils. • Mineral Oils • Animal Oils • Vegetable Oils We have not specifically tested Olive Oil, but do not foresee any problems.

Q: Is this Pump safe to Pump Wine in a 20L pale? Wine is in a 20L pale. Is it safe to pump wine? Why is it not safe to pump drinking water? Please explain.

A: This pump is not suitable to pump wine or water because the wetted parks of the pump with react chemically with the fluids and the pump will fail.

Q: How heavy is too heavy an oil ? Must have a number like 10W40 or some such number.

A: It is suitable for hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, motor oils, and differential fluid / gear oil, like 80W90 or 85W140.

A: Materials (Should not be pumped) Acids (weak and strong), Alcohols, Alkalis, Anti-Freeze, Benzene, Chemicals (mild and aggressive), Corrosive Fluids (mild and strong), Detergents, Disinfectants, Edible oils, Edible Fluids (juice, wine, etc...) Esters, Farm Chemicals, Fertilizers, Gasoline, Grease, Herbicides< Hydrocarbons, Industrial Chemicals, Insecticides, Machine Oils, Oils (heavy), Soaps, Solvents, Thinners, Water, Water based Fluids and Waxes.
